In America the cost of a degree is sometimes a bullet in the head. Guns don't kill people. The pursuit of education does.

John Mike Bordeaux from the CreDi Stable of Anti-Poets:

Brush my teeth and wash my face
in a dirty, tub-ring place
Hair on porcelain, hair on towel
Acrid ass-gas, passed and foul
Scrape the scaly elbow, knee
with a rough, wet, dank, chilly
Hairy cloth, over mildewed drain
shampoo, soap, snot, all the same
Through flesh pipes, then ones of iron
Piss-stained floor perfumes environ
Hair on shoulder, hair in sink
Dick gives lecherous, juicy wink
Wrinkled waterlogged would-be tail
Blood-stained kleenex in the pail |

Yes, the exorcism revival rages on. Theoretically, what has always interested us is the Christian egotistical notion that the Devil, that devourer of books and knowledge and Nature, would wish for the slightest moment to inhabit the dessicated carcass of a human under the tutelage of the Church.
It's true that the Devil does occasionally inhabit bodies but it's almost always inside creative geniuses like us where He is welcome. It's a symbiosis. He sees through our eyes and we re-energize at the fount of His mighty phallus.
What on earth would He gain from inhabiting a Christian? A sudden impulse to stone a homosexual to death? An insatiable urge for Krispy Kreem Donuts?

and here's some good examples of the consequences of such religious doctrine:
ain't religion grand?

You know those vacuum sealing bags that you can buy to seal and store everything from left-over food to winter clothes?
Do those work on a dead body?

NEWS FLASH NEWS ITEM!
Let the Prophetess Speak!
How DARE you or I or anyone else speculate on what went on during Britney's reported "5 days without sleep"! How do you know that she didn't reach out and glimpse enlightenment? How can you be so sure the Divine did not flow over her like so much light?
Who says one can't go from the trailer park to the Bodhi tree? From slag to saint? Grotesque to Guru?
Perhaps celebrity dog shit American culture has slobbered so much on itself that it submerged. Submerged and burst thru on the Other Side. Crossed the great divide and awoke.
As we speak a hideous membrane is straining. Straining from a throng dying to burst out - finally, wide-eyed stumbling out of the noxious fumes of an overly-mediated society's ass. Still drenched in it's shallow filth but gasping like a newborn for a taste of fresh air.
Let the Prophetess speak.

Perhpas Britney can't bring herself to show up for custody hearings for her children because the pressure is too great - the pressure of knowing that she has mothered the Son of God. K-fed is merely the modern day Joseph. As the paparrazi wisemen bring the gift of flashbulbs the multi-million dollar manger lights up with the hopes of a decadent and deformed society. All hail the coming of the bored.

Damn, crack head Amy Winehouse is looking GOOD!
Feel like breakin out my glass and rock n rollin with that action.
Message to Amy: please don't die before I get to have sex with you (okay, give or take 2 or 3 hours post-mortem will do in a pinch) |
